This Privacy Policy explains how data is processed when using the Konturio mobile applications for iOS and Android (the "Application").

The Application is owned, operated and administered by Ivan Politikin, residing at Absamata Masalieva St, 51, Osh, Kyrgyzstan, 723500 (the "Administrator").

Technical maintenance, software distribution support, account support and regional payment operations for users in the Russian Federation may be provided by the authorized regional partner: Individual Entrepreneur Seferov Vladimir Nikolaevich, Russian Federation, acting under a service support arrangement.

1. Core Technical Purpose

Konturio is a local network security and digital perimeter verification utility.

The Application helps users evaluate the safety of their local network environment and manage a protected mode for app data sessions when connected to untrusted, public or unstable networks.

The Application does not provide user-selectable server locations, country selection, identity-hiding browsing features, traffic resale, or advertising-based tracking.

2. Data Minimization

The Administrator follows a data minimization approach. The Application does not collect, store or transmit personal files, private messages, contacts, photos, microphone data, camera data, precise GPS location, browsing history, visited URLs, DNS history as a user history log, content of network traffic, payment card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, advertising identifiers for tracking, or data for resale.

3. Account and Authorization Data

To use protected application features, the Application may process limited account and authorization data, including account identifier, email address or phone number used for authorization, authorization status, access/license status, application session identifiers, app instance identifier, platform type, application version, operating system version, protected mode status and connection status.

Passwords are used only for account authorization. Passwords are not stored by the Application in plain text. Server-side systems store password hashes, not plain-text passwords.

4. Technical Runtime and Diagnostic Data

To provide protected mode, connection status, authorization and technical diagnostics, the Application may process limited technical data such as application state, protected mode state, connection state, basic platform properties, app version, diagnostic identifiers, technical error events, crash and stability logs, and timestamps of authorization, session and diagnostic events.

This data is processed only to operate the Application, maintain security, diagnose technical issues, prevent misuse and provide account-related functionality. The Application does not use this data for advertising, targeted marketing, behavior profiling or sale to third parties.

5. Protected Mode and Network Data

When the user enables protected mode, the Application may use system-level network functionality provided by the operating system to establish and manage a protected app session.

The Application does not log, inspect, sell or retain the content of the user's network traffic.

The Application does not maintain a user browsing history, visited URL history, DNS history, destination history, or communication content history.

For review and test accounts, protected mode uses a review-safe path and shows only access, session and service status.

6. No Advertising or Third-Party Tracking

The Application does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, marketing trackers or behavior profiling tools. The Application does not use processed data for targeted advertising, does not sell user data, and does not track users across third-party applications or websites for advertising purposes.

7. Data Sharing

The Application may interact with Konturio backend services only as necessary to authorize the user, verify account/access status, authorize the installation, maintain application session state, provide protected mode status, process account deletion requests, provide support and diagnostics, maintain security and prevent misuse.

Data may be processed by technical service providers only to the extent necessary for these functions. No data is shared with advertising networks for tracking or marketing purposes.

8. User Rights and Account Deletion

Users can manage their authorization status within the Application. Users may request account deletion through the Application interface, the official account deletion page at https://www.konturio.site/delete-account/, or the support contact published on the Konturio website.

After account deletion, account-related data is deleted or deactivated unless retention is required for security, legal, accounting, payment, dispute-resolution or anti-abuse purposes.

9. Children

The Application is not intended for children and is not directed to a child audience.

10. Security

The Application and related services use technical and organizational measures intended to protect account authorization, session integrity and diagnostic data. Users should not send passwords, payment details, tokens or other sensitive secrets through support messages.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Application, account features, protected mode, platform requirements or applicable laws change. The current version is published at https://www.konturio.site/privacy-app/.
